Caesar Chavez Mural
A mural of social justice, part of a friend's master thesis at Oregon State Universtity. 240 images were chosen and painted by stiudents and members of the community. They compose the eyes of a mutli-racial, unisex face. These eyes look though the struggle with intent and persaverence.
Imagine Coffee Mural
At the dream of one artist, 5 other artists joined talents to produce a stunning mural. The planning started in January 2013 to create a mural that would bring peace and rest, bring the outdoors inside. At the team's collective direction, Rob Fitzsimmons designed the mural in Photoshop, then he created a 3D model of the room, textured and rendered it into a flythrough movie.
Amazon Riverboat
Sketchup, Radiance and Kerkythea were key tools in making this dream come true. Carlos visited my church with a 2D design of a riverboat. Prompted to help him in his future presentations, I converted his 2D views into a 3D model. This did more than improve presentations, it helped Carlos's builders work from a downloadable 3D model, where they had been struggling to convert drawings into reality.
Imagine Coffee
Firends of Rob had a great idea - a coffee house that hosted not only live music, but live art. Rob help this dream come alive by lending his skills in design. Sketchup and Kerkythea helped visualize the layout and colors. Today the Coffee shop is a center for local artists to gather to talk or paint. Rob paints twice a week to live music and curious onlookers.
